Gentile Unione Nazionale Consumatori Umbria,
durante una ricerca sulle iniziative di citizen science in Europa, ci siamo imbattuti nella vostra organizzazione Unione Nazionale Consumatori Umbria in Italia.
Siamo i coordinatori del Premio dell’Unione Europea per la Scienza dei Cittadini, che attualmente ha un bando aperto fino all’11 marzo.
Stiamo cercando di aumentare la diversità geografica tra le iniziative di citizen science vincitrici del premio. Ciò è particolarmente importante in termini di assegnazione di menzioni d’onore, dove la giuria mira anche a rappresentare la diversità geografica delle iniziative di citizen science all’interno dello Spazio europeo della ricerca.
È importante sottolineare che il nostro obiettivo è quello di aumentare la rappresentanza e il riconoscimento della citizen science in Italia, ed è per questo che ci siamo rivolti a voi dell’Unione Nazionale Consumatori Umbria.
Vi chiediamo quindi di condividere l’Open Call con la vostra comunità locale e di contattare direttamente le iniziative di citizen science in Italia che conoscete per incoraggiarle a candidarsi.
Abbiamo allegato un documento con i dettagli del bando che potrete utilizzare per la condivisione attraverso le vostre reti. Il documento include il testo in inglese e in italiano.
In allegato troverete anche alcune immagini che potrete utilizzare per promuovere il bando e vi chiediamo di utilizzare il tag #EUCitizenSciencePrize quando pubblicate qualcosa sui social media, in modo da poter condividere i vostri post.

Dear Unione Nazionale Consumatori Umbria,
While researching citizen science initiatives across Europe, we came across your organisation Unione Nazionale Consumatori Umbria in Italy.
We are the coordinators of the European Union Prize for Citizen Science that currently has an Open Call for submissions until March 11.
We are striving to increase the geographical diversity amongst the winning citizen science initiatives of the prize. This is particularly important in terms of the awarding of Honorary Mentions, where the jury also aims to represent the geographical diversity of citizen science initiatives within the European Research Area.
Importantly, we are specifically aiming to increase the representation and recognition of citizen science in Italy, and this is why we have reached out to you at Unione Nazionale Consumatori Umbria
We would therefore kindly ask for your support in sharing the Open Call with your local community, and reaching out directly to any excellent citizen science initiatives in Italy that you may know of and encouraging them to apply.
We have attached a document with the details of the call that you can use for sharing across your networks. The document includes the text in English and in Italian.
Also attached are some images you can use to promote the call, and we would appreciate if you could use the tag #EUCitizenSciencePrize if you post anything on social media, so we can reshare your posts.
